 Patriot Corza NAS review test

By: Hilbert Hagedoorn Edited by John A. Johnsen | Published: September 3, 2009

NAS units, ladies and gentlemen, a storage device that you can access within a local network. This is what the Corza is all about. NAS units can be configured with user and group management rights, so you can have certain people access specific data. You can setup quota's, run an FTP server with it. And all that to serve you your music, movies, pictures and data to you anywhere in your home.

The Corza is one of the first low-cost NAS units that makes it into the consumer market. Typically prices start at 500 USD for a proper 2-bay NAS unit. The product we test today can be spotted for roughly 100 to 150 USD, and that is an all new. Amazing really as it is a device that fully qualifies a NAS unit. you can find it under SKU number PCZ35SNAS2.

The Corza as such comes with two 3.5" hot-swappable drive bays, is a RAID capable design and allows for data security next to the generic plethora of NAS functionality. Let's have a look at it's main features.
