 Ozone SMOG gaming mouse review

By: Hilbert Hagedoorn Edited by Joshua Finger | Published: November 20, 2009

So today we'll peek at the Ozone Gaming mouse. We'll have a look at some of the features the mouse offers, and then on the next pages we'll look into a nice photo-shoot, followed by a test and sure, I'm feeling generous today ... I'll throw in a conclusion as well ;)

A nice blend of a conventional to use mouse, yet once in your hand palm .. it feels like Godzilla in your hand. The right-handed mouse features an adjustable right-side hand support, 7+2 programmable buttons, five Macro modes for gaming profiles and supports up to 5040 dpi via software. Not to mention, the mouse also comes with ceramic footpads and an adjustable weight (includes set with six 5g weights).

The Smog is pretty advanced on the inside as well. We're talking about a high-precision laser sensor called the Avago 9500 (12,000 fps), as well as 16 bit ultra data-path for nifty performance. The mouse sports a 1,000 Hz polling rate, supports 450/900/1800/3600 dpi profiles, and can even be pushed up to around 5040 dpi via software. Tracking speed, however, is fixed, at an impressive 150 inches/second.

The Ozone Smog Gaming Mouse is now available for purchase for 49.90 Euro (about $74).
