Once you open up the box and take out the PSU you'll immediately go 'wow' as the x-factor kicks in. The chrome/shine factor is really high for this PSU. You can comb your hair in it if you wanted to and is what OCZ calls their Titanium plated mirror finish. The second thing you'll notice is that big 120mm fan all the way on top.

Overvoltage and Shorting a circuit, basically I did not want to test that. But OCZ has a specific protection built in. If you short anything the circuit breaker will kick in and the PSU will shut down. After the procedure of un-shorting that problem of yours you should still be able to use your PSU. Here we are looking at the connectors by the way. Use as many as you like.

Quite unique I find, look closely at the ATX connecttor and then the small extra 4 pin connector. Have a look at the next images.

This basically functions as an adapter for newer mainboards. The 20/24-pin motherboard adapter it is simply an extra 4-pin header (with its own separate cable) that clips on to ordinary 20-pin header. Quite handy for the newer mainboard that can make use of the new 24 pin solution and of course for the up and coming BTX form factor standard mainboards.
