 OCZ Behemoth game mouse review

Final words and conclusion

Lately OCZ has been on a winning streak of delivering good products. The Behemoth is no different, it's a great mouse with excellent design features. The best thing however is it's price. Before even starting this review I deliberately did not look at the price. I wanted to estimate what a mouse like this would be worth and then compare it with the real price. Once I finished testing the product I felt that I would probably pay 40 EUR for this mouse would have still considered it to be a fair deal. Well, then I started checking some of the e-tailers and much to my surprise the mouse seems to be selling for 25 EUR already, that's roughly 25 USD as well.

This is exactly what OCZ has been very good at lately. It's the same with their keyboards, nice design, classy, gaming oriented yet priced fairly. And surely as a consumer you must respect that very much.

So for the 25 bucks, you purchase a nice design mouse with dual-laser system to improve tracking. It is an ergonomic mouse that comes with DPI selector, it is programmable, is weigh adjustable and sure ... just looks pretty darn okay. Oh and I just love the dumb dim-witted stuff like the the cloth-braided USB cord, no rubber. The only things I can think of might be the location of the profile switch at the bottom of the mouse, and the DPI switch might have been better off positions lightly higher. Still, the ability to have these features in this price-range is of course already really good anyway.

I find reviewing a mouse a somewhat subjective task to do I'd like to say that this is a sturdy, high precision mouse that offers great flexibility whether that's for normal desktop usage or gaming. There's honestly not much to dislike at all.

You can pick it up for only $24.99

Bottom line: The OCZ Behemoth Mouse comes very much recommended.
