 NZXT Rogue SSF chassis review

nzxt rogue SSF m-atx review

As you can see the exterior of the NZXT Rogue is black painted aluminum. To your left you can see front panel connectivity, even eSata can be found there which is nice if you quickly need to access a HDD externally. Not on the photo, but at the bottom I later on discovered that it features a few rubber strips to reduce vibration and noise.

Sim-sa-la-bim .. open, and so it did.  The front door is lockable and held on with a small magnet that holds it pretty well by itself. You'll spot a 3.5" and two 5.25" drive bays there. Also the reset button and power button are located behind that door.

On the left side we can see the side panel, plenty of ventilation there. Some pre installed fans can be found as well (three in total). Having one fans blow in to the case on left side, and one more blow out on the other side should create more airflow than a mATX case would ever need. All the way at the rear another fan is embedded. You could still add two more if you wanted, there's space for that. Yet definitely not a necessity.

Let me zoom in a little here .. a bit to the right of the front panel you can see that transparent thingy right ? That's actually a Led activated light. The Rogue comes in several colors/options. We have the black ALU chassis with RED lights. Let me show you that a tad better.

With the chassis powered up we can clearly see the LEDs activated. To the right the power on/off and reset button.
