NVISION 08 was opened officially with a keynote speech by Jen-Hsun Huang, CEO of NVIDIA. Mr. Huang, which we can call by name as Jensen talked about innovations in the field of visual computing. The past, the future, the dynamics and developments.

Automotive, designing and creating a car (or any product) with a multitude of rendering techniques (rasterization, shading and ray-tracing) all at once. A demo was shown where HDR was applied. Nothing really new as you can do this with three photo's in Photoshop but still .. the generic consensus was making people aware of the fact that the GPU is more than a product to render games with.
