 Left 4 Dead PC - 23 VGA card graphics performance

Image Quality

First thing we did is verify that the image quality between ATI Radeon and NVIDIA GeForce cards was the same, it's 100% similar. What I also want to do is show you a couple of screenshots so you can observe the theme and atmosphere created with the help of the good ol' HL2 engine.

Zombies man... a lot of them. You get to use a plethora of weaponry, and the flashlight effect certainly helps to build a creepy atmosphere. The zombies are great, first they walk slowly... and then take a run at you trying to get you infected.

To make the game a little scary here and there, often lighting is dropped, giving you that old DOOM flashlight scare and a dozen or two zombies start running at you. Oh and I'm not joking about the dozen or two...

Yes... Hilbert wuvs the sniper rifles. But granted, with the fast moving critters... not the best weapon to use eh?

There are roughly ten zombies nearby really. Anyway, this screenshot shows the nice ambient lighting, shadows, fog and object detail. But let's have a look at the level we'll be performing our test in.
