Left 4 Dead VGA Graphics card performance

Left 4 Dead VGA Graphics card performanceYou know you've got F1 games for the racing freaks, Flight-Sims for the future pilots and aviation fans, RPG, MMORPG games, strategy games, simulations. There's just so much variation out there. But then there's the first person shooter, one of the most successful concepts for modern age games. And sometimes a software house releases a game that is so simple... that it just works brilliantly.

A new and highly virulent strain of the rabies virus emerges and spreads throughout the human population with frightening speed. The pandemic's victims become grotesquely disfigured widely violent psychopaths, attacking the uninfected on sight. As one of the "lucky" few apparently immune to the sickness, you, unfortunately, are also trapped in a city crawling with thousands of the bloodthirsty Infected. Alone, you're dead. But together with a handful of fellow survivors, you might just fight your way to safety.

The beauty of Left 4 Dead is that it taps into a vision of the zombie apocalypse that is so familiar from films that it allows for a frightening economy in the way the game establishes its characters and setting. The game opens up “two weeks after first infection” with a brief cinematic of the four survivors amidst a horde of attacking zombies.

See, Left 4 Dead is a title where you do not have to think... left, right, forward, backward and fire is really all you need to focus on. And you get to do it with your teammates. But yeah, these are pretty much the only five controls you need. But from that simplicity comes strength: Valve has cut the bloated survival-horror game down to the bone.

Left 4 Dead is about zombies... thousands of them. Your mission? Kill them. If it walks... you shoot it. It's so undemanding, and it also might be the brilliance of the game as every now and then, that works. Grab a gun, kill zombies, and survive your journey from point A to point B by any means necessary. So if you have an uncontrollable urge to virtually shoot everything that moves... this is your game bro.
