So I teach music for a living.  It's not much of a living, mostly becase the taxes are so painful, but one thing became very clear: All of my students, both young and old, have iPods.  So, I thought to myself, since everybody's got iPods, there must be something different.

There certainly is, and different it is.

Maybe I can Yoda it up for you:  Difference you feel there is certain.

Okay, I'll work on it.

But, simply being different (from the company that says it's different) isn't what a musician really needs, no.  A music teacher has requirements far above simply being different, like recording, or an FM tuner when you get a cancellation and want to listen to NPR.  Well.  I did a lot of reading, research, listening, sleeping, a few beers, and came up with iRiver's H320.  The H320 is a portable 20GB hard disk with a 2.0" color screen, FM tuner, recording, line-in/line-out, and a swank carbon fiber look.  It's got space, color, recording, and sex appeal.  What's not to love?  Of course, there's a few shortcomings, but let's check it out!
