 iRIVER H10

By: phantom Edited by  | Published: April 22, 2005

The cable to hook the H10 up to the PC is somewhat, well, upsetting. It is similar to the iPod series in that it has a standard USB end to hook into your computer, but it has some odd looking specialized port to hook into the player. Not only that but the USB cable also has the normal power adapter plug hooked into it, so it becomes a little bit of an annoyance. None the less it isn't terrible and obviously you can charge the player from the computer when it's plugged through just the USB, so as to not confuse anyone.

The case that is included not very attractive, but would provide some resistance to it getting scratched. While a practical idea the case included is just so ugly in my opinion I would rather just leave it at home.

The H10 up against a standard pack of 17 sticks of Winterfresh gum. The iRiver is about 1/3 of an inch longer than the pack of gum, and is about half the width of the pack of gun.

Another feature I really like to stress time and time again is the headphones. These in-box headphones are really more than good enough to please anyone and the bass is very clean and deep, along with the mids and treble being very defined.
