The only major downfall of this player right here off the bat is it will only support MP3 and WMA formats, so anything else you might as well just chuck out the window, such as WAV files. But overall, if you encode an MP3 at a high bit-rate you should be pleasantly happy. The next thing is the radio. Not only does the radio function, but it functions very well. I get any station I would normally get in a car as long as I'm in a semi-clear area, which astonished me.

The very nice thing about this player is there is no need to install any of that "iTunes" or any secondary software that isn't already on your windows computer. All you are required to have is Windows XP, Service Pack 1 or 2, and Windows Media Player 10. As long as you can meet those requirements you're fine and most people already have these items downloaded so it isn't a big deal. For those who don't have these items installed, you should, because none will effectively hurt your system either.

The other great feature about this player is the color screen. Unfortunately any digital camera is going to have a hard time capturing the screen in its full glory, but this screen has to be the most crisp I've seen of it's size... Actually of any portable device. I would have to say it's just as clear as Sony's PSP.

Last but not least I have to compliment the headphones that come with the unit. The Sennheiser MX400's have to be the best in-box headphones I have heard. They give a very nice strong bass punch, and the treble is also very tuned and defined without a doubt. Unlike the iPod headphones, which start to distort after a certain level and give off more or less weak bass impact, I think the Sennheiser MX400's have to be some of the best in-box headphones as well as earbud headphones I have heard.
