Inno3D iChill GeForce GTX 260 SP216 AC Accelerato XXX

Alright, so we've told you everything there is to know about the GPU. Inno3D shipped out the iChill edition. It comes with the AC Accelero Xtreme VGA cooler, but also with some other features worthwhile mentioning. Let's detail the cooling first though.

AC Accelero main features

  • Extreme cooling performance - up to 250 Watts
  • 3 ultra quiet 92mm PWM fans with low noise impeller
  • Efficient heat dissipation via 5 heatpipes
  • Patented fan holder eliminates the buzzing sounds
  • RAM and voltage regulator cooling
  • Pre-applied MX-2
  • SLI compatible

Sure, the cooler might be big. But its cooling performance is grand. We'll show you some results later on where we stress the GPU with Furmark, and end up at a maximum 50 Degrees C  / 122 F temperature. Astonishing really for a GPU of this caliber.

Also the iChill edition cards always come overclocked, and so does this one, have a peek:

GeForce GTX 260 GTX 260 SP 216 GTX 260 iChill AC
Core Clock (MHz) 576 576 612
Shader Clock (MHz) 1242 1242 1350
Memory Clock (MHz) x2 999 999 1053

As you can see Inno3D is adding a decent overclock. And I'm happy to report that they applied a small OC to the shader domain as well (shader domain are the stream / shader processors). The iChill edition cards also come with some extra bundled software. Included are Warmonger and Far Cry 2, the full games, bringing more value to your purchase.

Packaging and Accessories then, included in the box ye shall find:

  • Inno3D GeForce GTX 260 896MB SP216
  • Driver CD / manual / quick install guide
  • 6-pin to Molex power cable (x1)
  • VGA->DVI dongle
  • 3-way RCA analog HDTV cable
  • Warmonger full game
  • Far Cy 2 full game

So all in all, this should be a very interesting card to purchase. the iChill edition graphics cards are topped off with a three year warranty on parts and labor.

The cooler is long .. very long.
