Inno3D GeForce 9800 GT Twin Turbo review

The two DVI ports support simultaneous HDCP and dual-link (meaning a possible resolution of up to 2560 x 1600 with your 30" monitor).

This has been a possibility since NVIDIA's release of 65nm products and this is the second card in the series to boast this feature, others being incapable of the feat.

With the 7-pin HDTV-out mini-din, a user can plug an S-video cable directly into the connector, or use a dongle for YPrPb (component) or composite outputs. The prior 9-pin HDTV-out mini-din connector required a dongle to use S-video, YPrPb and composite outputs. Love the black plating and gold colored DVI connector by the way.

The card itself has a pretty nice design, the Artic Cooling Accelero cooler is huge though and will eat up three slots. As you can see the residual heat is dumped inside your PC, I'm not a fan of that especially for a three-slot cooler. On the flip side, it does do it's job really well though.

Here we see the copper block mounted onto the graphics chipset. Four heat pipes, that's very respectable really.

At the rear end we stumble into the 6-pin power connector. As explained a couple of times already, the PCIe bus can not deliver enough current to the graphics card, and therefore you'll see a power connector feed straight from the power-supply.
