X800 Pro IceQ II VIVO LIMITED EDITION
HIS Excalibur

Product type: Graphics card
Manufacturer: HIS
Website: www.HISdigital.com

Right then, time for a new HiS product review. In all honesty I've had this sample for quite a while now and hey, I can say we extensively tested it. Today my friends, Guru3d.com will have a close look at HiS's Excalibur IceQ II VIVO edition.  HiS is short for Hightech Information System, a Hong Kong company that has been growing rapidly in Europe. They offer products with a reputation, products that set themselves aside from the competition and for me personally one of the best Radeon brand products around!

We've reviewed quite a few HiS products, it all started with their extraordinary 9800 Pro IceQ model, it had a revolutionary cooling design that many of us simply love sooo much. They are managing that same trick again with this new x800 Pro, yes it has been equipped with what HiS calls their IceQ-II cooling solution.

Oh and we always explain the mighty branding stuff -> Excalibur... does it ring a bell? King Arthur's sword people, medieval times baby!

The model we received for this review is the new x800 Pro, it's the less  expensive ~435 USD Limited Edition with extra software title, Video In and Out (VIVO) and of course that lovely IceQ II cooling solution. That extra software title is EZpicture Digital photo software, on top of an already interesting software bundle. It doesn't end quite there though.

Its full name: HiS Excalibur x800 Pro IceQ II VIVO 256 MB GDDR3 (Limited Edition).

It's the new rocket fuel powered graphics card launched at a rocket facility in Honk Kong, so let's take a look at it, from a Dutch point of view, as it just flew into our lab. In our review you'll notice breathtaking performance, excellent features and most of all overclockability that'll make your jaw snap.

As the Black Eyed Peas sing so smooth, let's get it started !
Oh wait .. I just found out they changed the title from let's get retarded ... hmm !?
