Photos - Gigabyte Radeon HD 4870 1GB

On the next few pages we'll show you some photos. The images were taken at high-res and then scaled down. The camera used was a Canon 450D 12 MegaPixel.

Okay here we have the Gigabyte Radeon HD 4870 1GB, you'll find it under the SKU code GV-R485OC-1GI in the stores.

First things that catch the eye of course are the customized blue PCB and that cooler. Two DVI connectors (HDCP capable). Quite a sight for the eyes. Also notice the two Crossfire fingers to your bottom right. All 4850 cards will allow you to opt for Crossfire. Check out our series 4800 Crossfire review for more info on that.

The cooler, unmistakably clear comes from Zalman. I'm not quite sure which model it exactly is. The cooler works really well, though it's a little noisy.

Due to the height, the cooler uses up two slots. To your right the 6-pin power connector. A Molex converter power plug sis included should your PSU not have the 6-pin connector.
