If you look closer at the dual-slot cooler you'll see that it has changed from the original GTS models. The fan is now placed in an angle and blows air more directly over the GPU surface.

Again, at the rear end we'll also stumble onto the 6-pin PSU connector. Once cards consume more than 75 Watt the traditional PCI-Express port can't supply enough power. This is why the card needs to feed it's current directly from the power supply.

At full load the card can peak at 130 Watt power consumption.
