So it's been a while since we've tested products from Galaxy. It makes sense .. it had been a while since NVIDIA released new products. So roughly two months ago NVIDIA introduced a new series 7 lineup of product with much success. Among them obviously the GeForce 7600 GT and more recently released the less expensive 7600 GS. Today we'll be taking a look at the Galaxy GeForce 7600 GS which has been armed with a couple of real fun surprises for sure.

Let's briefly talk about the latest series 7 line-up from NVIDIA and then go in-depth on Galaxy's new mid-range performer, the 7600 GS. The new line-up constsis out of four mid & high end range of products namely the following:

  • GeForce 7900 GTX 512 MB - Dual slot cooled - 499 USD
  • GeForce 7900 GT 256 MB -Single slot cooled - 299 USD
  • GeForce 7600 GT 256 MB Single slot cooled - 199 USD
  • GeForce 7600 GS 256 MB Single slot cooled - 169 USD

Yes, finally two new mid-range product with a sweet performance boost over the previous generation products. Please understand that low and midrange products always sell the best. They also offer you more bang for your bucks and often are very tweakable to squeeze some more performance out of them. Both the GeForce 7600 GS and GT are very competitive products in the mid-range market. I guarantee it, you'll be stunned by it's proce versus performance ratio and at the time when I started writing this introduction I haven't even tested the card. How do I know that? It's specifications just look that good.

Let's move on towards the next page where we'll discuss the standard technology features, talk about the bundle, the cooler, heat, power consumption, photo-shoot, benchmarks, overclocks and finally the verdict. Yes .. you better prepare yourself for the entire Guru3D she-bang.

Next page please ..
