 Freezer Xtreme Arctic Cooler CPU cooler review

Photos - AC Freezer Xtreme

On the next few pages we'll show you some photos. The images were taken at high-resolution, then cropped and scaled down. The camera used was a Canon 450D 12 MegaPixel.

Right there we have the 160 Watt heat pulling Freezer Xtreme in it's blister packaging. The dimensions of the new Freezer Xtreme stand at 130 x 100 x 131mm (LxWxH) and it weighs 608g.

At first glance you'll be under the impression that the cooler is one massive heatsink, that's not the case. The 102-fins form a U shape with the four heatpipes. In the middle you can spot a removable fan. Let me show you a side view with the fan in place.

The 1500RPM ventilator that sits in the middle can be removed easily by pushing two clips on the top side, you pull it up and it's out. Very easy.

At the copper base the four pipes come together. Also as you can see, there is Artic cooling MX-2 thermal compound pre-applied for you.
