 Far Cry 2 PC VGA Graphics performance review

Image Quality

First thing we need to do is verify that the image quality among ATI Radeon cards and NVIDIA GeForce graphics are the same so that we can objectively measure performance.

Now these cropped and resized images are always difficult to show you IQ (image quality) differences. Yet the IQ between the two vendors is exceptionally close to each other. Too close to call any difference really.

Even if we look at is from another angle and different scenery we still have a very hard time finding any difference. BTW it might look like as if NVIDIA is not rendering clouds, that's not the case. They are behind the tree, as they had just moved.

In our test-level we run from the starting point from Marty, to the car we need to repair. We need to get our asses moving at this stage. And yes, this is the image quality we are playing and thus testing with.
