eVGA P55 Classified

Once we flip the board once more we see nicely color coded frontpanel headers. And yes, there are two sets of them. Here additionally  three USB headers and a firewire header can be found.  All the way to the right you can spot the diagnostic LED displaying error codes, or when all is fine a temperature readout of your processor. The three chips above the most left USB (red) header are the triple BIOSes, two soldered, one can actually be replaced.

But let's move a little more to the left:

Check that out -- Triple BIOS Support is managed with a switch. Three onboard BIOS chips are present allowing users to store different BIOS revisions for testing purposes or as a failsafe backup. BIOS chip selection is made possible by a straightforward three-position slider switch placed at the lower left corner of the board.  I LOVE the simplicity of a switch to select  a BIOS.

Also spot the Reset, power and CMOS buttons there. The Reset and Power buttons also function as LEDs for power and HDD activity.

Okay, once more photo on the most peculiar feature of the board. The tremendous amount of PCIe slots. The slots by the way are connected to PCIe disable Jumpers -- Allowing you to test a multi-card system instantly and water cooling systems without having to disassemble the loop. I didn't mention it just yet but there are a total of seven fully controllable fan headers placed in various locations, five of which are easily accessible.

The test setup all hotwired and ready to go for a decent test run.
