 Core i7 Multi-GPU SLI Crossfire Game performance review

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 280 SLI (2 GPUs - 2 Cards)

With two GTX 280's in SLI we immediately retrieve more performance. Considering the IQ settings we play in... pretty amazing stuff. But of course... we can add another card. Let's start focusing at the 2560x1600 resolution.


NVIDIA GeForce GTX 280 3-way SLI (3 GPUs - 3 Cards)

Seriously my eyes almost popped out when I noticed the results here. Our Core 2 Duo test platform is considered to be a current and pretty fast system to work with. But to notice this much of a difference is just insane. I can't use the word ass-raped in any of these articles, but I really should.

Once we plant a bucket-load of graphics cards in the new X58 system we get a clearer picture. 3-way SLI hauls ass, okay I need to stop using that word.
