CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Review

You always know what to look for in that good old retail shop for with the help of a Guru3D photo ;)

CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Review

The cooler comes with its own custom front and back mounting plates, so unfortunately you'll have to remove your mainboard to install this backplate. As you can see the kit is complete. Everything is supplied including the backplates for all popular CPU sockets, screws and even some thermal paste, which looks a lot like Arctic Silver (= good).

The cooling unit comes with the fan attached. All the other solutions we have tested had the weird little iron wire to attach the fan. Please note that if you wanted to there is gear supplied in the kit to attach another fan quickly and easily. Not at all needed as we'll show you in our benchmark results.

When we flip the device around you'll notice why I mentioned dual fin heatsink. You can clearly see the two segments with cooling ribbons.
