CoolerMaster Aquagate MAX review CPU liquid cooling

By: Hilbert Hagedoorn Edited by Joshua Finger | Published: December 8, 2008

Open your eyes please and enjoy the scenery
Meet the CoolerMaster  Aquagate MAX

What we'll do is swiftly work through the components in the kit with the help of an extensive photo-shoot. We'll continue the photo shoot with a guide on how to install the components (CPU & kit ) into a PC up to the point where we have finalized and finished everything.

It's 2008 and you've been reading Guru3D.com for a while now, right? Then you must know I originally was not a huge fan of using water inside a PC. It was scary considering you have conductive fluid inside an electrical system .. but I've seen the light and have since converted into a believer. Praise the water! Hallelujah! Amen brother.

All the primary systems in my office are equipped with a water-cooling solution. I kid you not, even all our test systems. Why you ask? Oh, just the noise level and the extraordinary cooling effect it has on components. I told you... I'm a changed man.

In the previous segment we discussed the basics of cooling. Right now we'll slowly dive into a photo shoot and emerge again later with a performance overview.

As you already guessed by now, this is a complete kit, so expect a lot of components. The kit we received from CoolerMaster comes with cooler, reservoir (integrated pump), tubing, struts, backplate, waterblock, flow and temperature meter, coolant ... well, the entire enchilada really to get you started 100%

Let me show you the specs as supplied by CoolerMaster, after which we'll dive into a guided photoshoot.
