Cooler Master Storm Inferno mouse review

By: Hilbert Hagedoorn Edited by Godfather | Published: August 13, 2010

CM Storm Inferno

Here mouseee mousee ....  aaahw, who can still remember the original TV series V ? Not the on currently broadcasted. That certainly gave a whole different meaning to the word mouse as back in those days the computer mouse was merely invented, starting it's evolutionary development cycle. And little did we know about how important the mouse as a peripheral would get. From standard functionality of the OS (well we moved cursors back and forth with the mouse back then), to the Commodore C64 and Amiga series mouse's to the PC platform .. and that's where the computer mouse as we know it became the absolute standard.

It's now 2010 and the mouse has evolved in many ways, forms and sorts. For each application there seems to be a mouse you can purchase, fact remains that the majority of mice out there simply all are close to each other. Cooler Master picked up on the mouse trend in a good year ago, and their latest addition is the CM Storm Inferno mouse.

A mouse obviously targeted at gamers, but Cooler Master diversified and refined it even a little more as it is a mouse targeted at MMO's. This gaming peripheral features a total of 11 buttons, nine of which are actually programmable, 128kb onboard memory, a Rapid Fire Tactical key and a Storm Tactics Multiplier key that gives access to 32 extra programmable outputs for macros, scripts and other unique commands. All that armed with a 4000 DPI twin laser sensor.

Have a peek, then have a browse to the next page, where we'll review the Cooler Master CM Storm Inferno
