Cooler Master HAF 922

Alrighty, we start off with packaging. The chassis is delivered in a standard cardboard box, well packaged in Styrofoam and encased in a plastic bag. Chances of damage during transport are quite slim.

Meet the HAF 922. Definitely a good chunk smaller than it's big brother, the HAF 932, but definitely not small either. Exactly the same style though. And for a mid-tower there's plenty of space to work with. Size wise you are looking at 253 x 502 x 563 mm / 10.0 x 19.7 x 22.2 inches, which is on the big side for a mid-tower.

The chassis itself is fabricated from steel, but the front and top bezels are mostly plastic. Check out that massively meshed Bezel by the way. Actually, you'll notice the hefty mesh throughout the chassis as we'll show you. If you count along with me you'll spot five exposed 5.25" Drive Bay's of which one can be reverted to a 3.5" bay. Inside you'll notice five (hidden) 3.5" Drive Bays

All the way below the bezel sports a 200mm red LED intake fan, with with dust filters.

If we zoom in a little towards the upper top of the chassis we see an I/O Panel -- USB 2.0 x 2, MIC x 1, Audio x 1 (support HD / AC97 Audio) and what I like to see nowadays, an eSATA connector. Some more USB ports would have been nice though.
