Computex 2008: Day 3 - The man with the hammer

CoolIT

The guys from CoolIT had a bit of bad luck, as like 80% of their gear was stuck somewhere in a different city and had yet to be delivered. So only a few photo's here. Above the CoolIT Pure watercooling based system.

I definitely like the way the graphics card is cooler there. No peltiers by the way, this is PURE water-cooling. If you look a tad closer at the mainboard you'll notice that it is actually a Skulltrail system. Appearantly Skulltrail is good business for CoolIT, despite the fact there are so little Skulltrail units available.

Last photo I can show (this is all gear that arrived) is the new water-radiator. As you can see, it only eats up one drive bay, and despite forfeiting a little on performance the design has been done in a way that it can effeciently cool down for example a GeForce 8800 Ultra, which is quite a hot GPU to cool down.

There was some more stuff they have been showing, VGA blocks for the GeForce GTX 280/260 and Radeon 4000 series for example.  Unfortunately we were not allowed to take photo's of these products.

*Sighs*
