Computex 2008: Day 3 - The man with the hammer

Moving towards the Hyatt Suites

On the second and third day we traveled towards another location, what you are looking at is the Hyatt hotel. It's directly next to the original TWTC exhibition halls. A lot (really a lot) of manufacturers choose to display their products from a Hotel suite in the Hyatt. Whether that is due to saving money or just to get invitees over only beats me. None the less, it does give a fun feeling of some news and different.

Our first stop:

Corsair Memory

So Corsair was obviously showing the latest gear they offer. In there you can see their Nautilis water-cooling, 1000 Watt power supply and memory. I think that was 800MHz DDR2 modules and overclocked 1600MHz Corsair Dominator memory they had in their systems.

Other than that overclocked DDR2/3 memory they were showing of just a peek at some of the finest built systems they brought along. Here we see a 3-way SLI system with the Corsair PSU, Nautilus cooling etc.

Corsair also had scheduled demo sessions where they overclocked systems with the help of some interesting gear. Quite honestly my focus here was the water-cooled GeForce 9800 GX2, yeah that was Quad SLI alright, nice gear.

Obviously their fine PSU's were on display as well, but we already discussed these in our CeBIT article.

And just for the sheer fun of it ..
