Computex 2008: Day 3 - The man with the hammer

Thermaltake

At Thermaltake I met the sweet Aanikah who presented the products in style. Thermaltake had a really large and likely expensive booth. Unfortunately the more interesting product were behind glass that was really hard to photograph. Let's run through a couple of their products.

Thermaltake had a lot more to show in the form of coolers, HTPC chassis, PSUs and so on. Above you can see their in development vaopchill like phase-change cooler, so not TT, you are definitely not the world's first. I really doubt it will hit the market, this seems more like a nice marketing gadget to have at the exhibit.

This is the all new BigType 14 Pro, don't let the photo fool you, it is a very large cooler compatible with all modern CPU sockets.

I really liked this one, it's the new ThermalTake Spedo chassis, as you can see a full tower with some impressive features. Look closely at the inside compartiments. Basically each unit/segment will have it's own airflow. Look for example at the graphcis cards where you can see that better. This optimizes airflow per product group and also will prevent hear from traveling throughout the system. Once finished I'll ask for a review sample as this is very interesting.

This is the Luxa 300, as you can see a HTPC chassis with embedded LCD screen. Pretty cool design I think, though with style based products, taste can differ a lot.

I liked this one as well, the DH104 HTPC chassis. They are clearly moving away from the older 'Mozart' line of product which we reviewed a long time ago.
