We start what I like to call booth-hopping at the POV stand. Now what you need to understand is that companies like NVIDIA have loads of products pending, yet everything even slightly NDA related was not available for show (public) at Computex. So overall loads of photo's, yet mostly you'll stumble into a product we already know.

POV had a couple of surprises though, as they will launch an LCD monitor line, update their PSU profile and we did spot a couple of cards with some original coolers, passive is da word my man ...

Point of View definitely had a nicely sized and good looking booth this year. It's still early in the morning at this point. The team has been working hard to get everything organized. It was quite interesting to see the dynamics of building and preparing the booth.

Here is the new LCD screen I mentioned, pretty snazzy looking, with 'Piano' finish. Which accoring to the marketing guru and deputy Jurgen is the shiny black style. Hey, I learn something every day, man!

The first editions will be offered in a 19" version, 5ms refresh rate, 1000:1 contrast ratio in a 1440 screen resolution. It was mentioned that a 22" model will be introduced soon as well at very reasonable pricing levels, which I leave to be announced.

As stated, Point of view has been offering PSU's for a while already, initially Tagan power supplies. That is changing though, they will move onwards directly to the PSU manufacturer and will get the PSUs specced and designed the way Point of View likes it to be. Nice modular design for sure. If I find the time for it I'll try to review one of these puppies anywhere in the near future.

Rather spectacular passive cooling there. This my fellah's is the stuff i like to see so much. I like diversity, something Point of View is doing well, that and their really good game-bundels that come with their cards. From the top of my head I think this was an 8800 GT by the way.

After touching the topic of game bundles; at the bundling front POV does what it does well, usually Ubisoft games are included, like recently Assasins Creed. This summer however the Disney aka Pixar movie Wall-e will be released and along with it a game. I have seen some footage, pretty funny stuff. Not targeted at the unthusiast gamer though, but more for that family feel kind of thing. Good stuff, and actually a very funny game.
