 Chronicles of Riddick

THE VERDICT.
This was one of the best games of 2004. It's more fun to play than Doom 3. It's not as linear as Half Life 2. The game play is absolutely flawless; this type of game play might become industry standard, who knows? Graphics are simply stunning, sound is great. The game engine is superb. Yes it has some things that  still need to be polished. Hopefully a small patch will fix some of the issues this game has. At the moment people who have ATI cards do have an antialiasing bug. But that in no way affects overall experience. Game developers have included some of the original and innovative ideas in this game that literally makes you wonder why this has not been done or attempted before. Commentary mode is perfect example of this. Yes the game lacks any sort of multiplayer but games like this are not meant to be multiplayer games.

Two thumbs up for the guys at Starbreeze for delivering such an amazing game. No one could have even guessed that this would be such a good game. It has what it takes to be one of the best single player action games. It's one of those few, which will make you a fan of the characters in the game.

Overall it feels good to see a small developer come out with such a quality game. I can easily give 10 out of 10 for this game. It's totally worth every penny. If you haven't bought this game already and were wondering what should I buy, then this is the game for you. I guarantee you won't be disappointed with this game. I know views change from person to person but I am sure this is too good of a game to disappoint anyone.
