Enermax

CeBIT 2007 Editorial - Guru3D.com

On my way to Hal 21 I stumbled into Enermax for who we review PSU's on a regular basis. Their Galaxy 1000 Watt PSU for example is just too darn good. We just received a second unit recently which has the 8-pin graphics connectors for our R600 review (which is delayed as you know). Sweet stuff.

They were showing off super-cooling (subzero) with a Phase change unit, the biggest one money can buy. Not the most charming setup to look at, but that's cooling down the processor (Core 2 Duo x6800) to -70 Degrees C. I missed the OC session due to appointments but they were aiming for a 4 to 5 GHz overclock.

Now look at the box picture from our review:

Now have a look at the next two photos:

On the Enermax Galaxy 1000 Watt box it states that you can feed connect 24 SATA drives, 4 slices of memory, two graphics cards, and quad processors.

Yeah, you can understand why that PSU is station in our primary test rig huh ? :) IMO the best PSU money can buy right now.

Anyway moving on ...
