CaseBuy A.I-01 series PC caseWe already tested their PSU tester and today we are reviewing yet another product from a relatively unknown company called CaseBuy. Not a power supply tester this time, no something quite different, a PC case.

Targeted at the mainstream user on a budget, CaseBuy offers a new series of PC ATX casings. Can I state first how happy I am to see how well the industry picked up the case-modding trend? The beige PC casings we all remember have been slowly phased out over the past 3 years, that's right only three years my friends as that was the point where a group of people figured, hey this case is boring. Let's use a saw, make a window, insert a light and extra fans in it. The most beautiful modification could be found and a lot of them are still a piece of art.

As stated, the industry picked up well on that and it has become a large and beneficial business. Since the PC casing industry became so bulky we now have a nice mixture in our selection of pre-modified cases. From low to high-end and for big and small budgets we can now buy a case... Casebuy :) Cases that have lovely aesthetics, design and layout for not a lot of money are now priced at a similar level as these beige monsters from the past.

The product we'll be testing today falls in the budget segment of mainstream pre-modified cases. For not a lot of money CaseBuy can offer you a product that (if it fits your style of course) really looks attractive. So all you guys and girls out there with two left hands when it comes to modifying a case yourself, good news. No more bleeding hands and chopped off fingers from sawing and cutting into that big can, it's all done for you.

Yes, nicely designed cases don't cost that much anymore as demand, and thus effectively volume, has risen big-time in the past year or three. Today's product is a fine example of exactly that. The product in today's review is the A.I 01 BK-AD-ME. My first suggestion to CaseBuy has to be: easy to use and remember names my friends. No one will ever remember such an extensive name.

A.I. however is the latest series in casing. On their website I noticed there is an AI-01, AI-02, AI-03, and AI-04. Our review unit here is AI-01 and it has few sub models for AI-01; in total four sub models. Each of them only slightly different in terms of fans, front panel or fanduct.

This review will contain a huge amount of images so if you are on dial-up modem connection, please be patient. As with most cases these days it's all about style, so you'll either love or hate this model.

Now then, before we get started let me show you how lovely the UPS service is. This my friends is how the case arrived. I was thinking: "Good God, that thing must be ripped apart." After checking and unpacking luckily there was not a scratch to be found.
