By: Hilbert Hagedoorn Edited by  | Published: January 3, 2007

BFG GeForce 8800 GTX (Single & SLI) ...
                                                        ... the Water Cooled Edition

Info: BFGtech
MSRP: 799 USD/EUR per card

BFG GeForce 8800 GTX 768MB Water Cooled Edition SLI reviewBlimey .. what is cooler than a totally pimped up car ? Yeah a pimped PC :) Okay .. okay so admittedly .. that only counts for true hardware fanatics like you and me. But you can rest for sure that once you or me will get it's hand on a couple of water-cooled BFG GeForce 8800 GTX cards the world slightly changes.

So that's what this article will be all about. We'll not go in-depth on the technology that is GeForce 8800, we did enough articles about GPU architecture already. We'll also not handle hefty a driver analysis and literally blame NVIDIA for their lacking Window Vista support (although I really should!). No .. we'll simply have a look at what BFG has delivered to our door-steps. I'll guide you through the installation process of water-cooling, we'll look at the pro's and con's of this water-cooling madness and obviously we'll fire off a good range of gaming benchmarks at both cards to have a look at performance results for both a single and in SLI setup water-cooled BFG GeForce 8800 GTX.

You might as well grab a hold of something as "mighty expensive" is what a setup like this is, is the all that hefty money worth all it ? Well .. let's go and find out and look at the hottest product that money can buy, and that is of course the GeForce 8800 GTX with 768 MB of gDDR3 memory based on water-cooling.

A product that offers tremendous amounts of performance, image quality and offers Full DirectX compatibility whether you play your "old" DirectX 8 and 9 titles or even the upcoming DirectX 10 and all that cooled by water with a massive cooling-block from the good blokes at Danger-den.

Do you want a sneek peek ? Here you go fellah ..
