AXIOM EP125 V3 8" 125 Watt Subwoofer Review

Introduction
With the PC audio market continually pushing the bar higher for source components, the rest of your system must also be of similar quality to hear all the sonic love your new source has to offer.

With the quality of PC speakers generally being of lower quality then even entry level home theater counterparts, more and more audio lovers are moving to HT components.

Add in the facts that many new PC's are coming equipped with HDMI I/O or meant to be used in the living room and the use of home theater based audio products seems like the logical choice.

Recently, we reviewed the Axiom M2 v3 bookshelf speakers and found them to be great speaker for the price point but bookshelf speakers are only capable of reproducing the higher areas of the sonic spectrum.  Bookshelf speaker based audio systems require a subwoofer to produce the lower frequency ranges that the bookshelf speakers cannot accurate reproduce.

Axiom produces a subwoofer which is said to be an excellent match sonically for the M3 speakers. We were interested in hearing what this product has to offer for bass reproduction so today in the Guru3D audio Lab we have a brand new Epicenter 125 subwoofer to put through our testing regimen.

We are quite excited to hear what this subwoofer has to offer, so let's fire this baby up shall we?
