On the next few pages we'll show you some photos. The images were taken at 4272 x 2848 pixels and then scaled down. The camera used was a Canon 450D - 12 MegaPixel.

Right, a couple of close-ups before we head on over to the tests and benchmarks. Yeah, this is how we receive them.

To the left you have the Athlon II X2 250, to the right the Phenom II X2 550 Black Edition

Looks similar to the million other Phenom processors we tested (from the outside). Both processors are based on the AM3 package and thus are compatible with Socket AM2+ as well.

AM3 of course also means 1333/1600 MHz DDR3 memory compatibility. And yes... you can use these processors on an AM2 AMD 790FX/GX motherboard just as well. In fact even AM2 780 motherboards should be able to run them.
