Arctic Cooling Silentium T3 ECO 80 review

Arctic Cooling Silentium T3

Both left and right side panels are closed completely to isolate noise levels. Where is this chassis getting it's airflow from then you ask. Well, we'll show you in a minute, but at the bottom of the chassis and rear. The front side shows space for two optical and two 3.5" floppy drives, which begs the question .. why ? Is anyone anno 2008 with a modern PC still using a floppy ?

At the front side lower half we stumble into pretty standard front panel connectivity. Speakers, Mic and 2x USB.

When we move downloads a little we can see that the chassis is lifted upwards a little and placed on a foot. this is where air intakes are places. At the bottom of the chassis air is sucked inwards, which inside the chassis will move upwards and exhaust at two rear fanes. Let me show you these.

Here we have the the upper segment of the rear where we stumble into two 80mm fans are exhausts. The rest of the grilled mesh on the back functions as intake.
