AMD ATI Radeon HD 4850 Crossfire

Crossfire: Race Driver - GRID

Based of the Ultra image quality settings you are looking at resolutions from 10x7 up to the 4M+ pixels counting  2560x1600. To spice image quality up, we enabled 4xMSAA as well.

GRID doesn't seem to like NVIDIA cards as much as ATI cards, then when you put card in Crossfire, things start to really show the difference. The performance increase was so significant that I threw in a GeForce GTX 280 here.

I wouldn't be surprised to see NVIDIA working on a new driver improving GRID performance REAL SOON. The other cards have nto been tested with this title btw. I just started using GRID last week and loved it so much that I absolutely wanted to include this title in the benchmark suite.

Crossfire: Enemy Territory - QUAKE Wars

Image Quality setting:

  • 4x Anti Aliasing
  • 16x anisotropic filtering
  • Soft Particles disabled (as it's not supported by the Radeon HD cards).

And then the other side of that scoop again, not at all bad though. Alright, I've shown you enough. Let's head onward to the conclusion.
