 Alphacool Ready2Go Stacker (Passive)

By: Hilbert Hagedoorn Edited by  | Published: October 16, 2006

The Verdict

Okay so I can make this a long and boring conclusion (and despite this line it'll probably be that anyway), but hey, other than it's pricing there is simply not one negative thing I can think of regarding this kit. The case as tested today will set you back a steep 540 EUR, but please think of that as an investment. None the less I am absolutely in love with the Ready2Go Coolermaster Stacker Silver with preinstalled water-cooling from AlphaCool.

Nobody will deny that this rig is costing a lot of money but the quality we see here is just amazing. Let's have a look at things in retrospect. The case by itself... well you love or hate it. That is a matter of taste. We received the most expensive model for this review, yet there are a selection of other cases available at AlphaCool and they are cheaper also. Personally I find the CoolerMaster Stacker one sexy momma. I love it.

Then there's the craftsmanship. I mention this specifically as you can't see any abnormalities casing and cooling wise. Everything was dealt with properly; with care. No scratches, wrong connections. By no means are these Ready2Go are pre-modified for you in a quick manner. You receive excellent components, a very reputable Eheim pump, everything is well connected and fitted. Yeah it's pretty awesome for sure.

The one thing where the Coolermaster Stacker Silver with preinstalled water-cooling, Ready2Go, could have failed would have been a difficult installation. However anyone that can fit a mainboard into his or her PC and connect components properly can do this. You know what let me rephrase that; it's no more difficult to do than installing a normal fan, in fact it's possibly easier.

I'll be dammed but I just can't find anything really negative, and for a manufacturer that's an extremely hard thing to accomplish here at Guru3D.com as we look at a product from the consumers point of view. We try to set the standard high, we raise the bar and no-matter how I look at it... Alphacool managed to fulfill all my requirements.

So with the Coolermaster Stacker Silver with pre-installed passive watercooling Ready2Go you'll receive a grand performing passively cooled water-cooling system including the case. It's completely silent, you do not have to deal with externally positioned radiators - I mean good God woman ! You don't even have to fill it with water. The only noise coming from the PC is a hard drive. Oh gosh we need affordable Solid State HD's :)

Sorry but I can do nothing else here. Alphacool is receiving our highest ranking award, the Guru3D.com best hardware award !

You can find more passively cooled Ready2Go systems at this link. They start at merely 349 EUR.
