Intels embedded integrated graphics for upcoming Skylake processors will gain quite a bit in performance compared to Broadwell, this however is the top model GT4e we are talking about that should be 50% faster.

This info is derived from a platform slide that posted in the Anandtech forums. Intel bases its claim on a 3DMark score comparing a Skylake-chip with a 45W TDP versus a 47W-Broadwell-cpu.

The 50% performance claim is based on 3DMark Vantage and 3DMark 11 btw. Judging from earlier rumors, the GT4e will be used in Skylake H series quad-cores processors for laptops only (Iris Pro). This would be the 9th iteration of the GPU and it'll get 72 EUs and 128MB edram.

This year we should see the first Skylake series processors for mobile and desktop, Skylake-H series however might still be out by a year, as the rumors indicate a 2016 launch.
